Warehouse process management
1. Before goods are warehoused.
Warehouse staff scan the shipping documents through the PDA handheld terminal to inquire about specific goods information (such as the name of goods, quantity, batch, supplier, etc.). While scanning the commodity code, the system will automatically check whether the items on the delivery note match with the actual arrival and give a prompt. If not, the warehouse staff can refuse to very sign on the goods. If it matches, the warehouse staff can upload the received goods information to the WCS system through the PDA handheld terminal and complete the storage determination in the MCU management system, while printing the storage documents.
2. After storage.
After the goods are stored, they can be managed by different companies point by point, batch by batch, sorted, matched or stacked by different manufacturers, etc. The staff can scan the goods label and storage space through the PDA handheld terminal.
Transportation process
1、Before leaving the store.
The staff will check the required cargo information on the PDA handheld terminal and generate the picking list (including order number, cargo location, box number, quantity and other information), meanwhile, the system will automatically generate the picking list according to the preset rules. The storage location of goods is recorded and uploaded to WCS/SCM management system.
2、Picking from the warehouse :
Locate and identify the goods according to the picking order generated by the system. Note that goods may be individually packaged and need to be unpacked or picked. The opening and picking information (cargo flow, operator, time, etc.) is recorded in real time via PDA handheld terminals.
3、Discharge confirmation.
When the goods leave the warehouse, the warehouse staff check the warehouse again through PDA handheld terminal and complete the confirmation work to ensure that the goods are consistent with the bill of materials, and at the same time synchronize the goods from the warehouse information to the WCS system to complete the warehouse confirmation.
