In Audi ingolstadt factory,logistics workers dedicated smart gloves embedded barcode reader,it combined with bar code automatic identification technology to ease the strength of workers to work to improve efficiency. At present, the five factories has been officially used.
In the traditional factory logistics department, workers need to carry a bulky industrial barcode scanner guns to scan the CKD parts that will be transported. In contrast, the smart glove eliminates the need for additional handheld scanning devices,workers only need to touch the thumb and index finger,so they can trigger the bar code scanning function.
Smart gloves are easy to operate and simplify the operation flow of the factory logistics department. The factory CKD packaging department’s person in charge introduced,smart gloves embedded barcode reader module,has a index finger of trigger part.When the workers touch the index finger with the thumb to start the bar code scanning function, the glove LED lights will be lit. When the scan is successful, both the beep and the vibration signal will alert the worker.
